I will be exhibiting at Michael’s Jewelry on Main Street in Visalia from November 1 – December 31, with an exhibit called “Double Take” which features an image twice though with a different interpretation. The photo may be an image taken at different times, as with the Three Graces, Half Dome and Ghost Ranch landscapes, or from a different perspective as with the poppies and Cinque Terre, Italy photos. The exhibit runs through December 31, with an artist reception on Friday, November 7, between 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
“Experience the Southern Sierra Nevada from the viewpoint of painters, poets, sculptors, photographers and storytellers.” Late last year, the Arts Alliance of Three Rivers produced an exceptional book highlighting the creations of artists and writers as they pay tribute to the extraordinary wonders of the Southern Sierra Nevada titled Sierra Wonders.
Sierra Wonders: Treasures in Our Backyard will be on display at Arts Visalia from March 5th through March 28th with an opening reception to be held on Friday, March 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Attendance is free and open to the public. Main Gallery artists Jeri Burzin, Elsah Cort, and Ginny Wilson are some of the artists represented in the book and exhibit.
